Lance Canales & The Flood - Train Wreck at Los Gatos Canyon (Deportee). Written by Woody Guthrie (RIP 1912-1967) when he saw the trivializing of this tragedy due to them being "just deportes" or perhaps "just Mexican". The wreck occurred on January 28, 1948 while flying Mexican migrant laborers back to Mexico, killing 32 people. There have been many famous recordings of this song given its true source and its powerful message against racism and injustice. I think Canales version is historically complete and heartfelt, as the Mexican-Californian migrant labor life is where he comes from, so he sings of his own story and people.
